Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant, based in Ahmedabad. The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, handling GST and TDS filings, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. The role also involves assisting in budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts in Tally or other accounting software
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and journal entries
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports
• Assist in audits, tax filings, and financial documentation
• Support payroll processing and employee reimbursement management
• Monitor cash flow and expense tracking
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for accounting queries.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
• 23 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, Excel, and accounting software
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Experience in the beauty, retail, or FMCG industry is an added advantage
