Account Executive (Mid-Market)

Location: Bangalore, India

Genesys is hiring a Mid-Market Account Executive to drive new customer acquisition and account expansion by selling Genesys Cloud CCaaS solutions. This role focuses on high-velocity, quota-carrying sales to mid-market organizations that are modernizing or migrating their contact centers to the cloud. You will engage prospects in consultative conversations, uncover business challenges, and align customer objectives with Genesys solutions to deliver measurable outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Own and manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, product demonstrations, negotiation, and deal closure
  • Drive net-new customer acquisition and expansion within assigned mid-market accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout all phases of the sales cycle
  • Consistently meet or exceed assigned revenue and booking targets
  • Develop and manage a high-quality, high-velocity sales pipeline
  • Engage CX, contact center, IT, and business stakeholders in consultative, value-based discussions
  • Position Genesys Cloud as a scalable, quick-to-value CCaaS platform that supports business transformation
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Partner teams to progress and close opportunities
  • Maintain accurate opportunity, pipeline, and forecast data within CRM systems

You'll bring

  • 5 to 7 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in a field sales role
  • Experience selling contact center solutions, CCaaS, UCaaS, CX platforms, or cloud-based SaaS offerings
  • Proven success in quota-carrying mid-market sales roles
  • Strong understanding of contact center operations, workflows, and key performance metrics
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities across short to mid-length sales cycles
  • Demonstrated track record of closing net-new business

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling cloud-native SaaS solutions
  • Exposure to partner-led or channel-assisted sales motions
  • Familiarity with RFP processes, pricing discussions, and commercial contracting

  • Strong negotiation, objection handling, and closing capabilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • High level of ownership with a results-driven execution mindset
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
