Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of basic finance principles and inventory management. You will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all our financial records.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Accounting: Accurately record and process daily financial transactions, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), journal entries, and bank reconciliations.

Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and update general ledgers and sub-ledgers, ensuring all entries are correct and properly classified.

Inventory Management: Assist with inventory accounting, including tracking stock movements, reconciling physical inventory counts with system records, and managing inventory valuation.

Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports as required.

Vendor & Client Invoicing: Prepare and process invoices for clients and verify/process invoices from vendors.

Statutory Compliance: Assist with data preparation for GST filings, TDS, and other statutory requirements.

Record Keeping: Maintain organized and accurate financial records, both electronic and physical.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience: 0.5-2 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance role.

Technical Skills:

Tally Prime: Strong proficiency in Tally Prime is highly preferred and will be the first preference.

MS Office: Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and MS Word.

Core Knowledge:

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial concepts.

Basic knowledge of inventory management processes and accounting.

Soft Skills:

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Good communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
