Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth, focusing on acquiring new clients and expanding our customer base.
- Customer Engagement: Identify and target potential customers for our cloud data backup and disaster recovery solutions. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Networking: Leverage your network and collaborate with Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to generate and execute on the sales pipeline.
- Revenue Generation: Deliver predictable subscription revenues as defined on a quarterly basis.
- Advisory Relations: Cultivate advisory relationships with prospects.
- Sales Methodology: Employ a sales methodology to ensure the flow of relevant and timely information.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings and effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients.
- Sales Presentations: Create compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to the unique needs of each prospect. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our solutions.
- Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing deals. Continuously update and maintain accurate records in our CRM system.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and product improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the founding team to refine product-market fit and provide feedback for product development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
- 5-10 years of successful sales experience in the technology industry, preferably with cloud solutions, data backup, or disaster recovery products. Capable of working independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong network of contacts in the tech industry, particularly with IT decision-makers, and experience using prospecting tools such as LinkedIn and Apollo to generate new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to connect with C-suite executives within prospective client organizations, with a track record of successfully selling to buyers of cloud applications in large enterprises across the ASEAN region.
- Extensive expertise in account planning and managing opportunities within the sales pipeline. Experience in selling the value and ROI of solutions to business stakeholders.
- Proficient in engaging clients through comprehensive questioning techniques and a history of successfully closing complex cloud-based deals.
- Proficient in utilizing CRM tools for managing territories, opportunities, and forecasting.
- Innate proficiency in cold calling and willingness to use various channels to connect with influential decision-makers.
- Ability to discern prospect triggers and pain points through effective questioning techniques, with an aptitude for learning and communicating in the language of the prospect's industry and business.
- Competence to independently conduct product demonstrations and a strong commitment to meeting specified sales productivity targets.
