Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the complete accounting operations of the manufacturing unit.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase, sales, expenses, and inventory transactions.
  • Handle cost accounting and product costing related to manufacturing activities.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, profit & loss accounts, and balance sheets.
  • Ensure timely GST returns, TDS filings, and statutory compliance.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Perform bank reconciliation and cash flow management.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain proper documentation of invoices, purchase orders, and financial records.
  • Support management with budgeting, financial planning, and cost control measures.
  • Monitor inventory accounting and stock reconciliation with the production and store departments.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and internal controls.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and manufacturing accounting practices.
  • Experience in Tally / ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and cost accounting.
  • Good analytical and team management skills.

Qualification

  • B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter.
  • 3–5 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
