THE ROLE
We are looking for a driven Account Director with 812 years experience to lead accounts and client servicing, and oversee all aspects of Spectal's brand-driven work. You will serve as a crucial point of contact between clients, the team, and the founder, ensuring seamless communication, exceptional execution, and long-term client success.
Responsibilities
As one of the senior leadership at Spectal, your responsibilities will be varied. These include:
Project Management
- Oversee end-to-end execution of client projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projects within budget, with proactive mitigation of risks and challenges.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client communication, ensuring their needs are consistently met.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Account Group Heads and Associates.
- You'll be responsible for delegating tasks to them, and ensuring they have the resources and support they need to carry them out effectively with full freedom to manage and grow your team as needed.
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including pitching to potential clients and developing new service offerings.
- Collaborate with the founder to drive strategic growth initiatives.
Financial Management
- Manage client budgets, ensuring profitability for all projects.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing, track financial performance, and provide regular updates on project financials.
Qualifications
- Experience: 812 years with client servicing or account management, preferably within advertising, marketing, or event management.
- Industry Expertise: Experience working with youth-focused, tech-driven brands and a deep understanding of India's youth culture.
- Leadership Skills: Confidence in liaising with clients upper management and the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Project Management: Proficiency in project planning tools and methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Brownie points: If you have experience with brand solutions or AI solutions, event planning and execution, or international clients.
