The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales of products in the Mid Enterprise segment across verticals in India. The ideal candidate will be able to achieve sales revenue targets by owning the sales cycle right from prospecting clients/opportunities, introducing the company, positioning, presenting solutions, and negotiations till the closure of sales.
The Sales Manager will also be responsible for creating and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and tailoring products and pitches according to their specifications. The Sales Manager will prepare business development strategies by proactively researching and anticipating prospective client needs. The Sales Manager will secure business opportunities by cultivating mutually beneficial business relationships with current and potential clients. The Sales Manager role will predominantly go after the existing set of accounts in terms of cross-selling and Upselling. The Sales Manager will map relevant stakeholders in the existing account, going after to discover a new array of requirements and pitching our solution to them. The Sales Manager will increase revenue from existing sets of accounts.

Shivakumar's previous venture, Roopit, needed a simple automated call center solution for which he built an in-house product, and eventually it became a standalone company in the form of Exotel.Exotel picked up a Rs. 25 million (approximately US$500,000 funding from Mumbai Angels and Blume Ventures in March 2012
