Account Director

AVIAN We. is looking for a seasoned communications professional with deep experience in the technology sector, particularly in managing enterprise technology clients. The role requires someone who can lead client relationships, provide strategic communications counsel, and bring strong relationships across technology and business media. The candidate should also have experience leading and mentoring teams, while maintaining a strong focus on quality and delivery. Experience in corporate and financial communications, including managing earnings, would be an added advantage.

Portfolio & Deliverables:

• Client Relationship Management: Lead and manage client relationships, ensuring strong engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
• Strategic Communications: Provide strategic communications counsel and develop effective communication strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Media Relations: Build and leverage strong relationships with technology, business, and relevant industry media.
• Team Leadership & Mentoring: Lead, guide, and mentor team members while driving accountability, collaboration, and professional development.
• Quality & Delivery: Ensure high-quality, timely delivery of client mandates, campaigns, and communication initiatives.
• Corporate & Financial Communications: Support corporate and financial communications mandates, including earnings communications, investor-related messaging, and other financial announcements.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant PR and communications experience, with significant exposure to the technology sector
• Proven experience managing large enterprise technology clients and complex communications mandates
• Based in Bengaluru / willing to be based in Bengaluru
