About the Organization:

The Anjani Mashelkar Foundation, established in 2011 by Padma Vibhushan Dr. R.A. Mashelkar and named in honour of his mother, is dedicated to addressing India's grand challenges through high-impact, high-technology, and ultra-affordable innovations.

About the Role: The Anjani Mashelkar Foundation is seeking a dedicated Account and Admin Executive to ensure the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in NGO accounting standards, and capable of managing day-to-day administrative logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts & Finance:

  • Maintain daily books of accounts using software (Tally, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks).
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable, petty cash, and prepare vouchers/receipts.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliation statements.
  • Ensure strict statutory compliance (TDS, GST, PF, PT) and coordinate with our Chartered Accountant for timely filings.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial statements, donor reports, and budgets.
  • Facilitate internal and external audits by maintaining a robust audit trail and documentation.

Administration & Operations:

  • Oversee office logistics, procurement of supplies, and inventory management.
  • Coordinate logistics for workshops, health camps, and meetings, including travel arrangements and vendor liaison.
  • Maintain attendance, leave records, and employment contracts.
  • Ensure the smooth functioning of day-to-day office operations and government liaison work as required.

Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 35 years of proven experience in accounts and administration (NGO/CSR sector experience is highly preferred).
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP / Zoho Books / QuickBooks and MS Office (Advanced Excel).
  • Familiarity with statutory compliances related to NGOs (12A, 80G, FCRA) is a distinct advantage.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and strong organizational skills.

Remuneration: Commensurate with experience and organisational norms.
