Role : Senior C# Backend Engineer (REST API)
We are looking for a seasoned Senior C# Backend Engineer to design and develop robust RESTful APIs using .NET technologies.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Entity Framework, domain-driven design (DDD), and SOLID principles.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for building scalable and maintainable backend services, writing unit tests using xUnit and Moq, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality :
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core
- Apply domain-driven design principles to model complex business domains
- Utilize Entity Framework for data access and persistence
- Write comprehensive unit tests using xUnit and Moq to ensure code quality
- Follow SOLID principles and clean architecture practices
- Collaborate with front-end developers to define API contracts and integration points
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of backend services
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and :
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with C# and .NET
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation
- Proficiency with Entity Framework and LINQ
- Solid understanding of domain-driven design and SOLID principles
- Experience writing unit tests with xUnit and mocking with Moq
- Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of security best practices for API development
