About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer with strong full-stack expertise (MERN) and hands-on experience in AI/ML, Conversational AI, cloud technologies, and scalable system design. The role involves leading development initiatives, architecting robust applications, integrating AI-driven capabilities, and mentoring junior engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities / KRAs
- Lead full-stack development using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
- Architect, design, and implement scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Build, optimize, and maintain responsive, dynamic UI using React and modern CSS frameworks.
- Integrate AI/ML workflows, including NLU, LLM-based solutions, and Generative AI techniques.
- Develop and implement conversational AI solutions using Dialogflow CX, Lex, Kore.ai, or similar.
- Design, refine, and optimize conversation flows for chatbot applications.
- Lead prompt engineering efforts and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
- Manage SQL and NoSQL database design, optimization, and performance improvements.
- Troubleshoot complex system interactions, integrations, and data flows.
- Deploy and manage cloud-native applications on Google Cloud or AWS.
- Ensure high code quality through code reviews, testing strategies, and best development practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement gathering and solution design.
- Analyze chatbot analytics and refine conversational models for effectiveness.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical planning and architectural decisions.
Required Skillsets
- Strong hands-on experience in MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
- Expertise in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
- Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, integrations, and Webhooks.
- Strong understanding of NLU, conversational AI tools (Dialogflow CX, Lex, Kore.ai).
- Experience with LLM prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and Generative AI concepts.
- Proficiency in debugging, problem-solving, and real-time systems troubleshooting.
- Cloud experience with Google Cloud (Cloud Run, GCF, Object Storage) or AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3).
- Strong UI/UX mindset for conversation flow and chatbot design.
- Familiarity with modern front-end build tools and performance optimization.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with chatbot analytics and performance tuning.
- Experience designing scalable microservices.
- Exposure to DevOps workflows and CI/CD.
- Experience working with automation-driven and AI-enhanced development tools.
