Step Into the World of Nicobar

Founded in 2016 by Simran Lal and Raul Rai, Nicobar is a modern, mindful, design-led lifestyle brand from India.

We wanted to create a new Indian sensibility that wasn't necessarily Westernised.

We're reimagining a contemporary Indian way of living, dressing, and looking at the world—rooted in culture, shaped by design, and guided by intention. At Nicobar, we believe in culture as much as commerce, and that how we build is just as important as what we build.

Our studio is tucked away in Tulsi Farms, Chhatarpur, Delhi. Nestled among trees, seasonal gardens, a citrus grove, and our beloved dogs Nico & Dot, we call it the Treehouse. It earned its name when our architect reworked the blueprint to protect every single tree on the land. It's a space where creativity brims and energy flows.

Your Role in the Story: What this position is about and why it matters in the larger Nicobar ecosystem.

• As a Senior Accessory Designer at Nicobar, you will shape a thoughtful, design-led accessories universe that complements our ready-to-wear narrative. This role is key to building a distinct point of view where design, function, and modern living intersect seamlessly.

Where You'll Make Impact: Key areas of responsibility—where your work will move the needle.

• A. Lead the design and development of accessories across categories bags, lifestyle ensuring a cohesive design language aligned with Nicobar's ethos.
• B. Drive innovation through materials, craft techniques, and product storytelling while collaborating closely with sourcing, merchandising, and production teams to bring ideas to life.

What You Bring Along: Essentials we're looking for in your experience, skillset, and mindset.

• A. 4-5+ years of experience in accessory design, with a strong portfolio that reflects both aesthetic sensibility and commercial understanding.
• B. A deep appreciation for craft, materials, and detail, paired with the ability to translate concepts into scalable, well-executed products.
