Key Responsibilities:
- Training Delivery:
- Provide training sessions for teachers, principals, and academic trainers, both online and on-site, to enhance their teaching practices in English and Social Science.
- Deliver engaging presentations to communicate academic concepts clearly, motivating and inspiring learners to adopt best teaching practices.
- Support teachers with guidance and feedback, helping them implement curriculum effectively in their classrooms.
- Curriculum Design & Development:
- Design and develop the English and Social Science curriculum, ensuring it meets academic standards and fosters student engagement.
- Collaborate with curriculum developers to create lesson plans, assessments, and activities that align with educational goals and learning outcomes.
- Review, curate, and validate curriculum content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and quality before dissemination.
- Content Quality & Review:
- Oversee the quality control of developed content, ensuring it adheres to high academic and pedagogical standards.
- Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure content is accurate, age-appropriate, and aligned with educational guidelines.
- Interpersonal Support:
- Maintain strong interpersonal relationships with teachers and academic teams to ensure they feel supported in implementing the curriculum.
- Provide motivation, continuous guidance, and mentorship to teachers and principals, empowering them to improve teaching strategies.
Qualifications/Preferred Candidate Skills:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Arts or related field (preferably with a focus on English and Social Science).
- Experience:
- At least 1 year of teaching experience in English and Social Science, preferably in a K-12 or academic training setting.
