Job Description

Program Manager - Academics PG Position

Objective:-

The program manager will be responsible for the development and success of the Academic Program (assigned portfolio), Offerings of UniAthena. The Academic Head will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations are in place and Portfolio Performance in terms of Revenues, ROI are optimised.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:-

  • Design and implement program roadmaps aligned with organizational strategy, market demand, and learner needs across diverse disciplines.
  • Own the performance of assigned academic programs—including growth, profitability, student success metrics, and lifecycle updates.
  • Ensure programs are academically robust, industry-aligned, and scalable.
  • Collaborate with content, tech, admissions, and marketing teams to drive seamless program execution.
  • Define and manage workflows, SOPs, and tools to ensure efficient delivery, tracking, and reporting across program operations.
  • Track performance metrics to drive enrollment growth, reduce attrition, and ensure return on investment across all programs.
  • Establish and monitor QA processes to ensure all programs meet academic standards, learner expectations, and compliance benchmarks.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to improve learner NPS, engagement, and satisfaction at scale through structural and experiential enhancements.
  • Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to conceptualize, plan, and evaluate promotional initiatives to support with course promotion and user acquisition
  • Analyze trends in higher education, online learning, and competitor offerings to identify gaps, innovation opportunities, and product enhancements.
  • Lead the planning and execution of new program launches, including positioning, curriculum input, partner coordination, and go-to-market alignment.
  • Collaborate with product and tech teams to implement or enhance learning technologies and platforms that support scalable delivery.
  • Provide high-level performance insights and reports to senior management, along with action plans for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure academic partnerships, certifications, and accreditations are maintained and comply with external and internal quality regulations.
  • Partner with marketing and admissions to define program positioning, improve lead conversion, and enhance the student acquisition process.
