Job Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and vision for the institution's academic programs, ensuring alignment with mission and longterm goals.
• Oversee curriculum development, assessment, and continuous improvement across all departments.
• Lead and mentor faculty, promoting excellence in teaching, research, and professional development.
• Develop and implement policies that uphold academic standards, accreditation requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with senior management to formulate and monitor the academic budget, resource allocation, and staffing plans.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary initiatives, partnerships with industry, and community engagement projects.
• Represent the institution at academic forums, conferences, and accreditation bodies.
• Ensure the effective use of technology and digital tools to enhance learning, teaching, and administrative processes.
• Champion an inclusive and diverse learning environment that supports the success of all students and staff.

Essential Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of highereducation governance, curriculum design, and accreditation standards.
• Strong understanding of Indian highereducation regulations and policy frameworks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead large, multidisciplinary academic teams.

Desired Experience

• Minimum 10 years of progressive academic leadership experience.
• Handson experience in curriculum development, program accreditation, and quality assurance processes.
• Experience managing sizable academic budgets and resource planning.
• Demonstrated involvement in community outreach, industry partnerships, or international collaborations.
