Role Description The Academic Faculty role is a part-time, remote position focused on delivering high-quality instruction to defence exam aspirants. Responsibilities include planning and conducting online classes, developing lesson plans and study materials aligned with relevant defence syllabi, and explaining complex concepts in a clear, structured manner. The faculty member will evaluate learner performance through assignments, tests, and mock exams, provide individualized feedback, and support learners in improving exam readiness. Additional tasks may include contributing to curriculum development, creating digital resources (such as presentations, practice questions, and reference notes), and participating in virtual doubt-clearing sessions or mentoring programs to enhance learner engagement and success.
Qualifications

• Strong subject-matter expertise in one or more relevant domains (e.g., Mathematics, English, General Knowledge, Defence Studies, or related fields) and the ability to connect content to defence examination requirements.
• Proficiency in academic instruction and curriculum design, including lesson planning, assessment creation, and structured exam preparation strategies.
• Effective online teaching skills, with experience using digital learning platforms, presentation tools, and engaging remote teaching techniques.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and learner support skills, including the ability to motivate aspirants, provide constructive feedback, and foster discipline and confidence.
• Relevant academic background (e.g., Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related discipline); prior experience coaching for defence or competitive exams is highly beneficial.
• Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and alignment with the values of integrity, resilience, and leadership that underpin India's Defence Forces.
