This is a full-time, on-site role for an Academic Counselor based in Ernakulam. The Academic Counselor will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students in academic planning, career counseling, and educational development. The role includes understanding students strengths, goals, and challenges to recommend courses, programs, or career paths. The counselor will collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success and conduct sessions addressing academic and career planning needs.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to provide effective support and guidance to students.
Strong Academic Advising and Education skills to assist students in academic and course-related planning.
Excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and faculty members.
Ability to empathize and build trust to create a supportive environment for students.
Previous experience in education or academic guidance is advantageous.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is preferred.
