Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur for an Academic Counselor. The Academic Counselor will support students by providing guidance on academic and career pathways, advising on course selection, and helping them navigate educational challenges. They will engage with students and their families to understand individual goals and align them with available educational opportunities. Additional duties include maintaining up-to-date knowledge of academic programs and collaborating with other team members to ensure students overall success.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to support students in achieving their academic and career objectives.
- Strong Academic Advising and Education skills to provide guidance on course selection, curriculum, and academic challenges.
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and maintain a student-centered approach.
- Relevant experience in academic counseling or a related field preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field required. Advanced degrees or certifications in counseling are an advantage.
- A deep understanding of academic programs and career development resources is beneficial.
