Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Academic Counselor role located in Bengaluru. The Academic Counselor will be responsible for guiding and supporting students in their academic and career aspirations. Core tasks include conducting counseling sessions, offering academic advising, discussing career pathways, and assisting students in identifying educational opportunities tailored to their goals.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Student Counseling and Career Counseling
- Strong Communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with students and stakeholders
- Experience in Academic Advising and Education planning
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including active listening and empathy
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse student population
- Familiarity with academic programs, educational institutions, and career opportunities within various industries
