Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Academic Counselor located in Bengaluru. The Academic Counselor will support students by offering guidance on academic planning, career exploration, and educational pathways. Responsibilities include conducting student counseling sessions, providing career advice, assisting with academic decision-making, and serving as a resource for educational opportunities. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effectively engaging with students and collaborating with colleagues to foster a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide students effectively in both academic and professional growth.
• Proficiency in Academic Advising and Education to assist students in planning and achieving their educational goals.
• Exceptional Communication skills to actively engage with students and colleagues, establishing trust and rapport.
• Familiarity with student development principles or experience in the EdTech industry is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or related field required; advanced degree or certifications in education counseling are advantageous.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative on-site environment in Bengaluru.
