Role Description The Academic Counselor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Patna. The Academic Counselor will guide students and their families in selecting appropriate courses, planning study schedules, and understanding board exam requirements. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions, monitoring student progress, and providing academic advising aligned with Bihar Board curricula. The role also involves career counseling for students, coordinating with teachers to address learning challenges, and maintaining accurate records of counseling interactions and student development. The Academic Counselor will collaborate closely with center staff to ensure a supportive, inclusive learning environment and contribute to outreach activities that promote Edural Classes programs.

- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills to support learners academic planning and performance.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and teaching staff.
- Candidates should possess Career Counseling and guidance skills to help students understand future education and career pathways.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Education, preferably with knowledge of the Bihar Board curriculum and secondary school pedagogy.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor's or master's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field are preferred.
- Prior experience in school counseling, coaching centers, or academic advisory roles is beneficial.
- Ability to build trust with students from diverse backgrounds, maintain confidentiality, and use basic digital tools for tracking student data is highly valued.
