Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hyderabad for an Academic Counselor with salary Budget of 25,000 per month. The Academic Counselor will guide students in making informed academic and career choices through personalized counseling. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting academic advising sessions, supporting students in identifying and achieving academic and career goals, addressing academic challenges, and working closely with faculty to develop personalized education plans. The counselor will also organize and participate in student career planning and development activities.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to support individuals in navigating academic and career opportunities.
- Strong Academic Advising and Education-related knowledge to assist students in creating tailored learning paths and managing challenges.
- Excellent Communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation, to effectively interact with students, parents, and educators.
- Proficiency in creating structured educational plans and offering actionable advice informed by academic and industry trends.
- Ability to build rapport with students and establish a supportive environment for constructive conversations about their future.
- Prior experience in an educational, counseling, or related field is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline is highly desirable.
