Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Malappuram for an Academic Counselor. The Academic Counselor will work closely with students to provide guidance and support in their educational and career goals, including developing personalized academic plans. Responsibilities include conducting academic advising sessions, offering career counseling, assisting with course selection, and supporting students in addressing academic challenges. The counselor will also collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure a supportive educational environment for all students.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to support students educational and professional development
• Strong Communication skills to build relationships with students, faculty, and staff
• Experience in Academic Advising to guide students in course planning and academic progression
• Background or knowledge in Education to assist with mentoring and guiding students
• Empathy, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in tools used for planning and managing student records is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred
