Job Title: Academic Counsellor
Working Days: 6 days a week (Sunday working, 1 weekday off)
About The Role
We are looking for a proactive and result-driven Academic Counsellor who will manage both
walk-in (offline) and online student inquiries. The role involves counselling students and parents
visiting the center, as well as handling leads via calls and other channels to drive admissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel walk-in students and parents at the center regarding courses, programs, and
career paths
- Convert walk-in inquiries into admissions through effective counselling and relationship
building
- Handle online leads through calls, follow-ups, and cold calling
- Guide prospective students and address their queries to drive conversions
- Maintain regular follow-ups with leads to ensure closure
- Update and manage lead data in CRM systems
- Achieve daily/weekly/monthly admission targets
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth admission processes
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in student counselling/admissions or similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in face-to-face counselling is highly preferred
- Comfortable with cold calling and handling online leads
- Target-oriented with a strong ability to convert leads
- Knowledge of CRM tools is an added advantage
