Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and goal-oriented Academic Counsellors to drive student enrollments by managing qualified leads, offering career guidance, and converting inquiries into admissions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and a passion for helping students make informed academic decisions while achieving enrollment targets.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Management & Student Engagement
- Connect with prospective students via calls, WhatsApp, emails, and other communication channels
- Understand students academic background, career goals, and learning needs
- Recommend suitable academic programs aligned with individual aspirations
- Ensure timely, professional, and consistent communication at all touchpoints
Sales & Counselling
- Present program features, benefits, career outcomes, and value propositions confidently
- Handle objections related to fees, eligibility, curriculum, and placement support
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly enrollment targets
- Follow a structured counselling and conversion process to maximize success rates
Follow-ups & Admissions Process
- Maintain regular follow-ups until final closure
- Assist students with applications, documentation, and fee payment procedures
- Ensure a smooth transition from inquiry to confirmed admission
CRM & Data Management
- Update lead status, follow-up notes, and conversion details accurately in CRM systems (LeadSquared preferred)
- Track performance metrics and maintain data accuracy
- Review reports to improve individual conversion performance
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with admissions, operations, and academic teams for seamless onboarding
- Share student feedback and market insights to enhance lead quality and campaigns
Market & Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on program offerings, pricing, scholarships, and promotional campaigns
- Monitor competitor offerings and market trends
- Continuously enhance product knowledge to improve counselling effectiveness
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Any Graduation
- Freshers with strong communication skills are welcome to apply
- Experience in EdTech, Education Counselling, Tele-Sales, or Inside Sales is an added advantage

- Strong sales pitching and closing skills
- Lead conversion and structured follow-up management
- Objection handling and negotiation abilities
