The Academic Counsellor will play a vital role in guiding students through their academic journey, providing them with the necessary support to achieve their educational goals. This role requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who can assist students in making informed decisions about their academic paths.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic guidance and support to students in their educational pursuits.
• Assist students in course selection and academic planning to ensure they meet their educational goals.
• Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions to address students academic and personal concerns.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to help them improve their academic performance.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support students academic needs.
• Organize workshops and seminars on academic success strategies and study skills.
• Maintain records of student interactions and progress reports.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students and faculty.
• Ability to provide empathetic support and guidance to students.
• Proficiency in using academic software and tools for tracking student progress.
• Knowledge of educational systems and academic policies in India.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in counselling or mentoring is preferred but not mandatory.
