Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for an Academic Counsellor specializing in the Hospitality and Aviation industries. The role involves guiding students in career planning and academic goals, providing personalized counseling to help them make informed decisions about their education and career paths. The Academic Counsellor will be responsible for assessing students interests and aptitudes, connecting them with suitable academic and vocational options, and addressing any related concerns or challenges they may face. Collaboration with faculty and other stakeholders to provide resources and insights will also be a key responsibility.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide students toward appropriate academic and career choices.
• Proficient in Communication and Academic Advising to effectively interact with students, parents, and other stakeholders.
• Background in Education with an understanding of hospitality and aviation coursework or industry trends is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to build rapport and trust with students.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address individual student needs and challenges.
• Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
