Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and target-oriented Academic Counsellor with experience in the EdTech industry and exposure to BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance). The ideal candidate will counsel prospective students on banking and financial services courses, understand their career aspirations, and guide them toward suitable training programs and career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective students through calls, leads, and follow-ups.
• Counsel students on BFSI training programs, banking courses, and career opportunities.
• Understand students academic backgrounds and career goals to recommend suitable programs.
• Explain course details, fees, duration, placement assistance, and enrollment procedures.
• Follow up with interested candidates and convert leads into enrollments.
• Achieve assigned admission and enrollment targets.
• Maintain student information, lead status, and follow-up records in the CRM.
• Build strong relationships with students and parents.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission and enrollment process.
• Stay updated on banking and financial services career opportunities and industry requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in academic counselling or educational sales.
• Experience in the EdTech industry with BFSI exposure is preferred.
• Knowledge of banking courses, BFSI training programs, or banking career pathways is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and convincing skills.
• Strong follow-up and lead-conversion abilities.
• Target-oriented mindset and a passion for student counselling.
