Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-oriented Admission Counsellor with 24 years of relevant experience in student counselling and admissions. The role involves guiding prospective students, understanding their career aspirations, providing accurate program information, and ensuring successful enrollments.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle student inquiries via calls, walk-ins, emails, and online platforms
- Counsel students on courses, career opportunities, eligibility, fees, and admission procedures
- Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns and convert them into enrollments
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of academic programs and admission criteria
- Support students throughout the documentation and admission process
- Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly admission targets
- Update and maintain accurate records in CRM systems
- Participate in admission events, seminars, webinars, and promotional activities
- Build strong relationships with students and parents
- Share insights on student preferences and market trends with management
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM preferred but not mandatory)
- 24 years of experience in admissions counselling is mandatory, academic counselling, or inside sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to influence and guide decision-making
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools
- Target-driven, proactive, and confident attitude
- Good listening, problem-solving, and follow-up skills
