Role Description The Academic Coordinator Pre Primary & Primary will oversee the academic program for early years and primary grades, ensuring alignment with the school's vision and standards.

This full-time, on-site role based in Panvel involves planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, monitoring lesson plans, and supporting teachers with instructional strategies and classroom management.

The coordinator will regularly observe classes, provide feedback, and organize professional development sessions for educators.

Responsibilities also include coordinating assessments, analyzing student performance data, and guiding interventions to support diverse learning needs.

The role requires active collaboration with teachers, school leadership, and families to maintain high-quality teaching and a child-centered learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Education with experience in early years and primary schooling,developing and implemention curriculum, preferably in a CBSE or similar curriculum environment. Prior experience with similar role will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Curriculum Development, including designing age-appropriate learning outcomes, lesson plans, and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent Communication skills for effective interaction with students, teachers, school leadership, and families.
  • Experience in Academic Advising and student support, including guiding educators on instructional practices and learner interventions.
  • Ability to conduct and apply Research to improve teaching-learning processes, curriculum effectiveness, and academic planning.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field; specialized training in early childhood or primary education is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple academic priorities.
  • Comfort with basic educational technology and digital tools used for planning, assessment, and communication.
