Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for an Academic Content Creator specializing in Mathematics. The role involves developing and curating high-quality academic content for mathematics courses, including lesson plans, exercises, and assessments. The candidate will collaborate with subject experts to ensure content accuracy and alignment with educational standards. Responsibilities also include conducting in-depth research to create student-friendly explanations and maintaining a consistent tone and style across content.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Mathematics, including expertise in problem-solving and logical reasoning
• Experience with curriculum design, lesson planning, and creating educational resources
• Excellent writing, communication, and proofreading skills
• Ability to utilize digital tools like canva, powerpoint, geogebra and desmos for content creation and educational platform management
• Strong research abilities to ensure accuracy and quality of mathematical content
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics or related field preferred
• Experience in the education sector or online learning platforms is a plus
