Academic Assistant

We are seeking an organized and empathetic Academic Assistant to support students in their academic journey. The ideal candidate will be a graduate with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle student queries, provide guidance, and manage administrative tasks.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Handling Student Queries: Address student queries promptly and professionally. Provide guidance on academic matters, including course selection and issue resolution.
• Follow-up with Absent Students: Monitor students with continuous absences, collaborating with parents/guardians and administrative staff to identify issues and implement improvement strategies.
• Information Dissemination: Regularly post timetables, academic announcements, and other relevant information in student communities, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
• General Mentoring: Provide mentoring and guidance to students to foster a positive learning environment and support their overall development and academic success.
• Collecting Feedback: Gather feedback on students academic experiences and teaching quality. Analyze the feedback and collaborate with administration and faculty to implement necessary improvements.

Skills Required

• A graduate in any field who has been a PSC (Public Service Commission) aspirant for at least one year.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in using academic software and communication platforms.
• Experience in an educational setting is preferred.
