About the Role (Not for SEO Writers, strictly Academic Writers Only)
We are looking for talented and detail-oriented academic writers to join our freelance team. The ideal candidate has strong research, writing, and referencing skills and can work on academic assignments, reports, research proposals, and essays across various disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Write clear, well-structured academic content according to assignment guidelines and rubrics.
- Conduct credible academic research using scholarly sources.
- Accurately use citation and referencing styles (e.g., APA 7, MLA, Harvard, Chicago).
- Meet agreed deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Communicate proactively about timelines, clarifications, and revisions.
- Follow client/instructor instructions precisely (formatting, structure, tone).
Requirements
- Proven experience in academic writing, research assistance, or editing.
- Strong command of English grammar, structure, and academic tone.
- Familiarity with citation styles (APA 7 is essential; MLA/Harvard a plus).
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree or higher (Master's preferred in relevant fields).
- Reliable internet and access to research databases/tools.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in writing for disciplines such as:
