Since 2018, the consultancy has facilitated over 5000+ visas and has been recognized in the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records for hosting the largest overseas education seminar. Aim Britz offers an environment where team members contribute directly to students global academic journeys.

Role Description The Academic Advisor will work on-site in Kochi in a full-time capacity, providing guidance to students on study abroad options, academic pathways, and career outcomes. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, assessing academic profiles, and recommending suitable universities and programs based on student goals and eligibility. The role involves supporting students through application and documentation processes, preparing them for interviews, and coordinating closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely information. The Academic Advisor will also help organize seminars, information sessions, and outreach activities, while maintaining detailed records of student interactions and progress. This position requires a strong commitment to student success, ethical advising practices, and collaboration within a dynamic consultancy environment.

Qualifications

  • Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills to guide learners through program selection and study abroad pathways.
  • Career Counseling and Education-focused expertise to connect academic choices with long-term professional goals.
  • Strong Communication abilities, including clear verbal and written skills, active listening, and culturally sensitive interaction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, International Relations, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
  • Experience in academic advising, study abroad consulting, or higher education services, preferably with international education exposure.
  • Ability to build rapport with diverse student populations, manage multiple cases, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and online communication tools; familiarity with admissions and visa processes is desirable.
  • Ethical, student-centered approach, strong organizational skills, and readiness to work on-site in Kochi.
