ABAP Technical Architect

Description

We are seeking an experienced ABAP Technical Architect to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP development and architecture, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality technical solutions in SAP environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces based on business requirements.
• Lead technical discussions and provide architectural solutions in ABAP development.
• Optimize existing ABAP code and enhance performance of SAP applications.
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices in ABAP development.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and ABAP enhancements.

Skills and Qualifications

• 10-20 years of experience in ABAP development and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP programming including Object-Oriented ABAP, Reports, ALV, and Interfaces.
• Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 development is a plus.
• Proficiency in performance tuning and debugging ABAP applications.
• Understanding of SAP modules like SD, MM, FI/CO, and HR.
• Familiarity with SAP HANA and CDS views is desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and provide technical guidance.
