Description
We are seeking an experienced ABAP Enhancements Developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in ABAP programming, with a focus on developing and enhancing applications to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance ABAP programs and reports based on business requirements.
- Troubleshoot and debug existing ABAP code to ensure smooth functionality.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to gather requirements for enhancements.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Optimize existing ABAP programs for performance improvements.
- Support integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
Skills and Qualifications
- 4-5 years of experience in ABAP programming with a strong focus on enhancements.
- Proficiency in ABAP programming language and its various tools (e.g., ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary).
- Experience with SAP modules like SD, MM, or FICO is a plus.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented ABAP programming concepts.
- Familiarity with SAP enhancement frameworks, user exits, and BAdIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
