Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Ab Initio Developer with strong experience in ETL development and data integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable data pipelines using Ab Initio tools, ensuring high performance and data quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Ab Initio and Control Center
- Build reusable, scalable, and high-performance data processing components
- Prepare and maintain low-level design (LLD) documentation
- Work on data integration, transformation, and data quality processes
- Troubleshoot and optimize ETL jobs for performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data architects and analysts
- Mentor junior team members and support team development
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality processes
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio (GDE) and Control Center, Teradata
- Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux and shell scripting
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing
- Proficiency in handling large datasets and performance tuning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Telecom domain
- Exposure to data migration or large-scale data processing projects
- Familiarity with scheduling and monitoring tools
Qualifications
- B.E / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc in Computer Science or related field
