Ab Initio Developer

Job Description:

• A day in the life of an Infoscion
• As part of the Infosys consulting team your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues diagnose problem areas design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight
• You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise
• You will plan the activities of configuration configure the product as per the design conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design
• You will conduct solution product demonstrations POC Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization s financial guidelines
• Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop test and deploy ETL applications using Ab Initio
• Develop and maintain Ab Initio graphs plans and reusable components
• Work on data extraction transformation and loading processes from multiple source systems
• Monitor and optimize ETL workflows for performance and scalability
• Perform data analysis data validation and troubleshooting of production issues
• Collaborate with business analysts architects and cross functional teams to understand requirements
• Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity across systems
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to development best practices
• Provide production support and incident resolution

Additional Responsibilities:

• Strong 3 years experience in Ab Initio GDE Graphical Development Environment
• Experience with Unix Linux shell scripting
• Understanding of Data Warehousing and ETL concepts
• Knowledge of performance tuning and job optimization
• Experience with file processing XML JSON CSV Fixed Width
• Exposure to Control M Autosys or other scheduling tools
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team oriented environment
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
