Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design and draft sheet metal parts and assemblies using Creo (latest version) in both 2D and 3D.
Utilize PLM (Windchill) for product change management.
Apply GD&T principles to ensure precise engineering specifications.
Ensure end-to-end product design, from concept to final delivery, under stringent timelines.
Conduct feasibility studies and analyze engineering design problems.
Provide technical support to stakeholders. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure design specifications are met.
Follow design standards and best practices to maintain product quality.

Skills And Experience Required

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in CAD Design, specifically with CREO / ProE.
Knowledge of DVA, DFA, DFS, DFMEA is an added advantage.
Familiarity with genset products is an added advantage.
Familiarity with casting, forging and sheet metal manufacturing processes is an added advantage.
Hands-on experience with GD&T and engineering terms.
Strong interaction skills and ability to work efficiently in a cross-functional team.
Demonstrated ability to learn and understand various product features and their relevance.
