Product cost out opportunity in a target-oriented manner through VAVE, Engineering and cost analytics. Provide cost estimation support to business units and identify Cost reduction VAVE projects.
Serve as the VAVE cost engineering expert, driving Cost-out Programs and Strategy
Study and understand products (both design and manufacturing). Identify cost-out opportunities by analyzing them & provide solutions.
Evaluate solutions for total cost impact including material, transportation, capital and labor costs.
- Drive the VAVE Framework from Data Collection, Function Analysis, Function/Cost matrix, Cost Estimation, Idea Generation, Pareto Ideas and develop action, Project Funnel.
- Conduct Teardown workshops and drive kaizen brainstorming events
Plan and Coordinate Engineering activity between cross-functional team members (engineering, purchasing, quality, operations) to drive cost reduction projects.
- Min 6 Years of professional Experience in VAVE Cost Analysis and estimation, Cost-out Strategy.
- Solid knowledge in cost estimation and in software's like aPriori, DFMA Boothroyd
Proficient in VAVE Cost-out, Cost Estimation, Problem Solving, Standardization.
