YOUR IMPACT
Playing a lead role in Budgeting team. Prepare the budget for a project before the start with a systematic approach to enable management to take decisions regarding the financial viability of the project. Updating concept level budget as per design details / thumb-rule calculations. Updating the budget at various stages of design.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Experience in Real Estate (High-rise Residential Buildings) in QS And Budgeting function
8 years of experience
Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office products, Auto-CAD, should be an expert in MS Excel.
Key Responsibilities
Quantification: Managing and developing a team of Quantity Surveyors for quantity takeoff and preparing BOQs. Making sure the quantities are accurate. Conducting an audit to check the accuracy of quantification.
Estimates: Estimating the cost for civil works, finishes, services and infrastructure works. Making corrections and updates in the original cost plans with variance analysis towards market escalations, project delays and changes in project execution strategies.
Budgets: Preparing budgets at various design stages before the project start. Responsible for the accuracy and auditability of the budget. Budget / cost monitoring, controlling & updating with systematic periodic reviews during the entire tenure of the project.
Value Engineering: Working out value engineering options with the design team, construction management & procurement for reducing the cost of execution and analyzing the design to ensure that the same is not over engineered.
Co-ordination: Providing relevant information related to consumption and expenses linked to construction to enable the construction team to deliver the project in a cost-efficient manner.
