Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Testing Project Manager with extensive experience in automation testing to lead our Business Unit (BU) demand analysis, team shaping, commercial agreements, and operational mode establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of automation testing methodologies and tools, enabling them to effectively size demand and drive project success.
Responsibilities
- Lead the automation testing strategy for the Business Unit, ensuring alignment with overall project goals and objectives.
- Analyze and size BU demand for automation testing resources and capabilities.
- Shape and build a high-performing automation testing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to agree on commercials and operational modes for automation testing initiatives.
- Develop and implement best practices for automation testing processes, tools, and frameworks.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues related to automation testing.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members on automation testing techniques and tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automation testing to ensure the team remains competitive.
Mandatory Skills
- Proven expertise in automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience in leading and managing automation testing projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience in cloud-based testing environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing.
- Relevant certifications in automation testing (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester) are a plus.
