We are seeking a highly skilled Techno-Functional Consultant who is experienced in Polaris / CCH Tagetik Developer with a strong background in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems and financial domain expertise. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and optimization of our financial planning, forecasting, and consolidation systems.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between complex financial requirements and technical architecture, possessing deep expertise in CCH Tagetik, Oracle Essbase, and multidimensional database design. You will be instrumental in transforming our financial operations by delivering robust, scalable EPM solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Implementation: Lead the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) of CCH Tagetik and EPM solutions, including requirements gathering, architectural design, prototyping, development, data mapping, testing, and deployment.
- Solution Architecture & Configuration:Configure and customize CCH Tagetik modules for financial budgeting, planning, forecasting, and corporate consolidation. Build complex data models, dimensions, and financial rules.
- Essbase & Data Integration: Design, optimize, and maintain multidimensional cubes using Oracle Essbase. Build seamless ETL pipelines and data integration flows between ERP systems, Essbase, and CCH Tagetik.
- Financial Logic Development: Write and optimize complex MDX queries, calculation scripts, and business rules to support sophisticated financial logic, currency conversions, allocations, and eliminations.
- Reporting & Analytics: Design and deploy dynamic financial reports, dashboards, and analytics templates within Tagetik and Smart View for executive leadership and finance stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with FP&A, Controllership, and IT teams to translate complex financial reporting standards and business requirements into scalable technical designs.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, ensuring fast data processing, calculation engine efficiency, and query responsiveness.
Required Technical Skills & Qualifications
- EPM Expertise: Minimum of 3–6 years of hands-on experience in implementing and configuringCCH Tagetik (Polaris engine experience is highly preferred).
- Essbase Proficiency: Strong expertise in Oracle Essbase (ASO/BSO), including advanced calculation scripts, MaxL scripting, MDX formulas, and cube optimization.
- Financial Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of corporate finance concepts, including GAAP/IFRS compliance, financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), intercompany eliminations, and multi-currency consolidations.
- Data Integration: Proven experience with ETL tools, SQL, data warehousing concepts, and integrating EPM systems with core ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Workday).
- Reporting Tools: Advanced proficiency in Tagetik Reporting, Excel Smart View, or similar financial reporting utilities.
