About This Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Linux, OpenStack & OpenShift Engineer with 5–6 years of experience to join our dynamic infrastructure and cloud operations team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing, troubleshooting, automating, and supporting enterprise-grade cloud and container platforms.
This role offers an opportunity to work on large-scale infrastructure environments involving virtualization, container orchestration, automation, monitoring, and customer engagement. You will collaborate with multiple functional teams to ensure platform stability, performance, and operational excellence.
What You will do :
- Manage and troubleshoot Linux-based infrastructure environments.
- Deploy, administer, and support OpenStack cloud platforms.
- Manage and troubleshoot OpenShift/Kubernetes container platforms.
- Perform incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem resolution for production environments.
- Automate operational tasks using Python, Ansible, and Ansible Tower/AWX.
- Work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve technical issues and provide operational support.
- Troubleshoot network-related issues including connectivity, routing, DNS, firewall, and load balancing issues.
- Monitor infrastructure health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack/syslog tools.
- Configure alerts, dashboards, and logging solutions for proactive monitoring.
- Participate in system upgrades, patching, maintenance activities, and security compliance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs.
- Support high availability, disaster recovery, and system reliability initiatives.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Network teams for platform improvements and automation initiatives.
- desirable knowledge of awk, sed and basic unix scripting skills
- Basic knowledge of databases and writing SQL script
The skills you bring:
- 5-6 years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration.
- Strong experience with OpenStack environments and cloud infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of OpenShift/Kubernetes architecture and operations.
- Hands-on experience with Python scripting for automation and operational tasks.
- Strong experience with Ansible and Ansible Tower/AWX.
- Experience in customer handling, stakeholder communication, and technical discussions.
- Good understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting:
- TCP/IP ,DNS ,Routing, VLAN, Firewall, Load Balancer.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools: Prometheus , Grafan and ELK Stack / Syslog tools.
- Experience troubleshooting production issues in enterprise environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced support and operations environment.
Good to Have
- Experience with Ceph storage & NetApp.
- Understanding of container networking and service mesh concepts.
- Redhat System Administrator & Redhat Certified Engineer certifications are a plus.
