Purpose of the Job:

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned quality leader with proven skills in building and working in a top-notch test team, hands-on experience in defining processes and solutions for ensuring high quality bar in a fast-paced environment, experience in various automation tools and frameworks, well versed with software development and release cycle and is able to communicate effectively with teams across the continents. You will be obsessed with quality improvement, experienced and highly committed to creating reliable automation for regression and feature testing, able to develop and drive a high-level strategy, as well as take a hands-on approach to implementing that strategy.

Key Deliverables

• Responsible for creation of test strategies and methodologies for new features, test case development and hand-off to regression team for execution
• Work with developers, product managers, and QA team members to achieve a high quality bar for your feature and team
• Identify the scope of the testing required for a particular release based on the requirements of the document.
• Identify the testing effort required by calculating the sizing needed for the given release and plan the required effort for the same.
• Identify the tools for test reporting, test management, test automation, etc. and educate the team on how to use those tools. Again, plan knowledge transfer sessions if required to the team members for the tools that they would use.

Skills Required:

• 6-10 years of experience in Mobile Automation and API Automation.
• Must have an good experience in Appium.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of Java concepts.
• Should able to Analyze complex Business & system Requirements and identify potential gaps.
• Should have ability to understand complex integrated system architecture and able to test it.
• Able to prepare test cases for Function Test, System Test, Regression test and integration testing.
• Good Communication skills : Can Participate in demo to product/Business owner.
• Additional Skills : RestAssured, Jenkins CI/CD Integration, Database Knowledge (SQL, ORACLE etc.), Github etc
