Senior Engineer - Field Service (Projects) Experience

• 8-10 years of experience in HVAC piping design, chilled water systems, plumbing, fire line execution, and HVAC control systems
• Hands-on experience in primary & secondary pumps, thermal storage systems, and accessories

Job Summary

• Lead design, development, and execution of liquid cooling systems for data centres with strong thermal and fluid engineering expertise

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery

• Lead end-to-end execution of liquid cooling projects from concept to commissioning
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing) for project delivery
• Review and approve designs ensuring quality, compliance, and accuracy
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables effectively
• Execute HVAC chilled water, plumbing, and fire line piping systems

Design & Development

• Lead design of chilled water piping systems including sizing, layout, and material selection
• Perform hydraulic calculations and system performance analysis
• Develop and review engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and Creo

Testing & Validation

• Develop and execute test plans for cooling system validation
• Analyze test data and optimize system performance
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety requirements

Service & Operations

• Apply strong knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics in projects
• Manage preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and field issue resolution within SLA
• Implement service bulletins and ensure system reliability
• Mentor junior engineers and support team development
• Maintain proper technical documentation and reporting

Preferred Criteria

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical or Piping Engineering
• Strong knowledge of ASHRAE and ASME standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, CAESAR II, and BIM tools
• Experience in energy-efficient and sustainable system design
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
• Proven track record in successful project delivery
