Business Intelligence Developer

Job Responsibilities

· Work independently on Tableau to Power BI migration tasks and ensure smooth report conversion.

· Analyze existing Tableau dashboards, calculations, filters, and data models, and rebuild them effectively in Power BI.

· Handle ambiguity in reporting requirements and come up with a structured migration and analytics approach.

· Articulate dashboard logic, migration approach, and analytical findings clearly with client and internal teams.

· Proactively identify reporting gaps, data issues, and optimization opportunities that improve business insights and decision-making.

· Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of migrated dashboards and reports.

· Support data analysis and generate meaningful business insights through visualizations and reporting.

· Translate business requirements into dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions using Tableau and Power BI.

Must have:

· 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, BI reporting, or dashboard development.

· Advanced hands-on experience in both Tableau and Power BI.

· Strong knowledge of Tableau features such as dashboards, worksheets, calculated fields, parameters, filters, and extracts.

· Strong knowledge of Power BI including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, relationships, and report publishing.

· Good understanding of data analytics, reporting, and visualization best practices.

· Ability to work independently on Tableau to Power BI migration projects.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Good verbal and business communication skills.

· Ability to identify data issues, anomalies, and validation gaps during migration and analysis.

· Strong business acumen and ability to convert reporting needs into actionable insights.

Good to Have:-

· Prior experience in Tableau to Power BI migration projects.

· Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation.

· Experience with data modeling, ETL, and report performance optimization.

· Exposure to client-facing analytics or BI consulting engagements.
