Job Description

Field Testing
Conduct comprehensive field testing of smartphones and smartwatches to evaluate performance, connectivity, and user experience in real-world conditions.
Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to:
Network connectivity
Call quality
Data transfer speeds
Other critical functionalities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve field issues promptly.
Log Analysis and Debugging
Utilize advanced logging tools such as:
QxDM
QCAT
Wireshark
STT
ELT
Analyze device logs to identify root causes of performance issues.
Debug complex technical problems and propose effective solutions.
3GPP Standards
Demonstrate deep understanding of 3GPP specifications across:
3G
4G
5G technologies
Ensure device compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Reporting and Documentation
Prepare detailed test reports summarizing:
Test results
Findings
Recommendations
Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including:
Engineering
Product management
Customer support
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in smartphone field testing.
Strong understanding of 3GPP specifications for 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies.
Hands-on experience with Android and iOS devices (smartphones and smartwatches).
Proficiency in using log analysis tools: QxDM, QCAT, Wireshark, STT, and ELT.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills
Experience with network optimization and performance tuning.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Perl for automation.
Familiarity with test automation frameworks.
