Roles and Responsibilities

· Collaborate closely and support the Physical Product Designers and Graphic Instruction manual designers to visualize and execute designs to DIY toys, games and activities for kids.

· Produce 3D renderings for the instruction manual illustrations, designed for kids of ages 3 to 14 to be able to assemble a mechanical toy, perform interactions or experiments on physical toys or models.

· Understanding the company's philosophy around DIY toys and delivering visual solutions to aid the user's experience.

· Follow and help innovate the SOPs and syntaxes that have been developed over time for visuals to be functional, intuitive and clear.

· Visualize and create realistic images of products for packaging and other marketing collaterals.

· Understanding the requirements of the projects and conceptualizing more creative ideas.

· Receiving feedback from directors, designers & clients, and accordingly editing your Creations/Renders based on the comments received.

· Ensures renderings are in compliance to the company and design standards as well as project requirements.

· Take up other responsibilities related to creating 3D renders and 3D animations, when required.

· Ready and willing to be present at Smartivity Labs office in Saket, New Delhi, as the company does not support full time work from home.

Software Skills:

· Working knowledge of industry-standard softwares:

· Keyshot- Very strong knowledge and past experience

· Maya- Basic knowledge

· Vray- Basic knowledge

· Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign- Optional

Other Skills:

· Problem solving skills with a logical and creative approach

· Strong Communication skills with technically inclined vocabulary

· Adaptability to high performance requiring situations

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree or diploma in any discipline but preferably related to Design, 3D art or Animation.

No prior job experience required. Any past experience around designing for kids (Age 3-14) or education sector will be credited.
