Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and passionate 3D Technical Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of Rigging, character setup and game engine integration workflows, along with a solid understanding of 3D art pipelines.

You will be responsible for preparing and integrating characters/assets into game engines, setting up rigs, shaders, physics systems, and ensuring assets are optimized and production-ready for games, VR/AR, animation, and related projects.

Responsibilities

  • Create and refine character rigs using Blender tools and addons such as Auto Rig Pro and Rigify
  • Able to do rigging, skinning, weight painting for character & assets
  • Set up and integrate characters/assets into Unity or Unreal Engine
  • Configure shaders, materials, skeletons, colliders, physics systems, and animation systems
  • Implement dynamic systems such as cloth, hair, wiggle bones, and secondary motion
  • Troubleshoot rigging, deformation, and animation issues
  • Optimize assets and technical setups for performance and stability
  • Collaborate closely with 3D artists and developers to maintain production quality
  • Perform testing and final quality checks for in-engine assets

Requirements

  • Good Understanding of English language
  • Strong knowledge of rigging workflows in Blender
  • Experience using Auto Rig Pro, Rigify, or similar rigging tools
  • Good understanding of Unity or Unreal Engine
  • Experience with shaders, animation systems, physics setup, and colliders in game engines
  • Ability to create showcase renders, turnaround videos, and presentation scenes
  • Basic knowledge of modeling, UV mapping, texturing, and general 3D workflows
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
  • Good understanding of optimization and clean project organization
  • Must be willing to learn new techniques & methodology if required for projects

Bonus:

  • Hands-on experience with the Auto Rig Pro addon in Blender
  • Experience with VRChat, VTuber, VRM or Metaverse avatar workflows
  • Knowledge of Magica Cloth, Dynamic Bones, Unity Cloth, or Unreal physics systems
  • Familiarity with Anime/Toon shading pipelines
  • Experience with animation retargeting and mocap workflows
  • Experience with particle systems, VFX etc.
